yoga is a practice of movement, breath and becoming aware of the patterns of the mind

Ashli found yoga in 1998 and it has been her absolute center through pregnancy, mother-hood and the ebbs and flows of life. Yoga to her is not only a daily practice on the mat, but a practice to be taken off the mat and into daily life.

Ashli studied as a body worker in 2001, Reiki Master in 2005 and towards her Registered Massage Therapy certification in 2008. She has contentedly found her dharma teaching a variety of styles of yoga. She also teaches anatomy and physiology in yoga teacher training programs across Vancouver BC.  Combining her extensive knowledge of the human body, the subtle energetics of reiki and a passion for movement, each class comes from her heart, unfolding into unique sequences designed to safely open all layers of the body.

She believes yoga is a practice of movement, breath and becoming aware of the patterns of the mind. Just as each student is unique, as is the body from day to day. Learning to listen to the body in practice allows the student to carry their practice into their lives where the true transformation begins.
