Maria is a North Vancouver based Yoga Teacher. Her yoga journey began with a simple discovery that yoga was “more than just a stretch”, it was a wonderful way to have a positive impact on the body, mind and spirit. Maria completed RYT 500, and specialties in Yin and Hot Yoga. She has a special passion for teaching Gentle Hatha, Hatha, Yin and Restorative Yoga styles. Maria has gained the knowledge of breath, meditation and Asana, as they work together to build strength, flexibility and a peaceful mind.

She offers a welcoming and supportive environment to explore the mind and body experience. In her classes she cultivates mindfulness, acceptance and patience, as breath and movement integrate with intention, allowing the student to observe and explore. Maria aims to bring the practice of yoga off the mat and into daily life through her teaching.
