Welcome to your yoga journey

Getting started in yoga can be particularly intimidating for those who don't fully understand it. If you have been interested in yoga, but haven't tried it because you are apprehensive, then you have come to the right place!

Maa Yoga is the perfect place to begin your yoga journey.

Our teachers welcome beginners, and they will ensure that you get the proper instruction you need to make your introduction to yoga as smooth and relaxing as possible. Yoga has been around for thousands of years because it is one of the most effective ways to keep a healthy body and mind. Although it may currently be considered "trendy," yoga is not a fad, and it will never go out of style.  Yoga is the classical Indian science of union.

Through this traditional art form you will learn to connect your mind, body and breathing so that you are equipped to find ease in the midst of your busy lifestyle. Yoga is a fantastic exercise and gives rewarding physical results. Email, visit or call us at Maa Yoga to schedule a consultation where we will match you with a perfect schedule to fit your lifestyle.  Private Yoga sessions are also ideal to get started.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know

Q: How do I sign up for a class?

A: We have 2 options for you:

1) To sign up, come by the studio a few minutes before the class is scheduled to begin (we recommend coming about 10-15 minutes beforehand). One of our Yoga Advisors at the front desk will have you fill out a New Student Waiver, process your payment, show you around the studio, and then you will be all set to take class.

2) You may now conveniently register and sign up online by clicking the link below, fill out the New Student Waiver, and buy your drop-in or introductory pass.

Q: Do you take registration in advance?

A: We do allow for registration in advance for our yoga classes, but it is not required. We do, also offer advanced registration for our workshops. We recommend signing up early for workshops in order to secure a guaranteed spot.

Q: What class is suitable for a beginner?

A: We recommend starting out with any of the Restorative, Therapeutic, and Yin yoga classes. However if you have an active lifestyle and are looking for more of a movement challenging class, a great place to start is with any Hatha or Hatha + Core class. Our Flow class is considered to be more advanced.

Though, with that said, students are welcome to join any class and experience it for themselves.

Q: Do I need to bring my own mat?

A: If you have a mat feel free to bring one. We also rent mats for $1, and we sell new mats in our retail space.

Q: What should I wear to class?

A: We recommend showing up for class wearing appropriate clothing you will feel comfortable moving around in. This includes athletic apparel and leggings. Please note no shoes are allowed in the studio where classes are held in.

Q: Do you offer any reduced price classes?

A: We offer a new student introductory pass - 14 consecutive days of unlimited yoga for only $40+tax. This offer can be used one time only, and does not need to be applied for your first visit.
