Flow Yoga classes will bring awareness, strength and balance to the overall body. The exercises lengthen the muscles while toning, strengthening and improving mobility.

This active rehabilitation exercise session will focus is on the posture and returning the spine to a neutral position, in order to relieve unnecessary muscle strain and tension. In this class we move and focus on fluidity and control. We breathe deeply to centre our minds, and to enhance the use of our deep core muscles. POWER FLOW CLASSES Practiced in a heated room (27-30 degrees) to access focus and mindful movement. This class offers a dynamic sequence of postures to access strength and openness. Options for hand balances, longer holds, and progressions of asanas may be offered.


Gentle Movement

Gentle Movement Yoga classes are ideal for all levels, anyone recovering from a past injury, and a great compliment for active lifestyles, and athletes. This fusion movement class will include gentle stretches and restorative movements with somatic yoga. 

Somatic yoga is a safe and gentle practice of slow, mindful movements that are dramatically effective at relieving pain caused by chronically tight muscles. Inspired by the work of Thomas Hanna and Moshe Feldenkrais, Somatic Yoga is a sensory motor training method that increases flexibility to restore full range of motion. With focus and attention, students are able to strengthen the body-mind connection, re-educating the brain and nervous system to release muscle tension.

Come meditate. This class begins with a short talk on mind and meditation, followed by sound healing and ends with a silent meditation.

Take a moment out of your day to free your mind and come experience the many benefits of meditation and sound healing. Scientific studies have shown that with regular meditation, we can reduce anxiety and stress in our lives. Enjoy the live sound vibrations as they move through you, creating a deep relaxing and restorative experience. Sound healing will be offered during this class, such as crystal singing bowls and gongs. Come experience the many benefits of meditation in a group setting, supporting each other.

A yoga class open to all levels and is designed with both the male energy and body in mind.

Stretch with breath

During this one hour class, you will hold active yoga poses between 3-5 minutes while focusing on deep breathing.

Using your breath to help you deepen into your stretch releasing fascia, stored emotions and becoming more flexible. Allowing yourself to be fully in the moment.  

This class ends with a 10 minute Savasana with guided breath work or guided meditation.

MEN’S YOGA


PILATES FUSION

Pilates is a form of low impact exercise primarily focused on strengthening the core muscles. Like yoga, we tend to move slowly and focus on breath and alignment.

Our Pilates fusion class aims to combine these two practices for a refreshing, engaging and focused class, where you can expect a focus on strengthening the core, all the way from the inner thighs to the shoulders, balanced by yoga movements and postures, improving mobility, flexibility and alignment.

This exercise rehabilitation class calms and balances the nervous system. Restorative practice enhances the overall quality of your mind.

VINYASA


Yin Yoga classes, will complement all active lifestyles / practices.

The principal of Yin Yoga "slow deep stretch" is the progressive stretching and strengthening of ligaments and fascia. Excellent for stress release and overall mental health. You ‘surrender’ to each posture, which is held for two to five minutes to encourage the slow and safe opening of connective tissues, allowing for emotional clearings and slow deep physical openings especially through the hip, pelvis and spine.

Yin


Yoga Basics class is ideal for new and beginner students or anyone looking for a detailed alignment based class. In this class you will be moved through the basic foundational hatha yoga poses.

Each week will have a core focus, poses will be broken down and in most cases taught more than once with proper alignment.
Variations of poses will be offered and the use of props. This class will also offer hands on adjustments if needed.
We welcome all who want to deepen or learn more about the yoga poses in detail.
